Psalms 16:6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
It was my desire to make Camp Bible-Way special this year to commemorate our twentieth year of camp. It then occurred to me that every year at camp is special! Each one of you is what makes it special and I want to say, “thank you” for being a part of camp.
In celebration of this landmark year at camp, our theme is “I have a goodly heritage” from the above verse. As we look back over the last twenty years we see many great people who have had an enormous impact on this world for Christ. Many of our former campers are now in full time ministry serving the Lord all over the world. Many others are faithful and godly members in their local churches. We are thankful for the part that God has allowed Camp Bible-Way to have in their lives.
Camp 2015 will be held the week of July 5-10. We are planning some exciting events this year that will include an alumni night and a video presentation with photos from the last twenty years. We look forward to an enjoyable time in the Lord!
Don’t forget to take a look at the camp website and the facebook page. There is also an alumni facebook page where you can share photos and memories.
Thank you again for what you have done to make Camp Bible-Way so important and special to so many people. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call at 513-341-1183.

Wow! What a wonderful time we had at camp this year! It seems like it was ages ago for some reason. Oh, well, time will pass quickly and Camp Bible-Way 2014 will be upon us before we know it! We thank the Lord for the fifteen young souls He saved through the preaching and teaching presented this year. We look forward to experiencing His work among us next year as well.
I am sending this letter with new and important information about camp in 2014. The dates have been set to be Sunday, the 29th of June to Friday the 4th of July. We recently had a meeting with camp workers and have made some fairly major changes that I believe will enhance and improve the spirituality and enjoyment of camp.
The first major difference will be the start of camp. In years past registration was on Monday morning and the camp did not really get underway until Tuesday. This year camp registration will be on Sunday afternoon and by Monday morning we will be off and running! Camp will end the same as before with awards presentation on Friday morning and dismissal afterwards.
Due to the extra evening in the dorms and breakfast the next morning, the camp fees have gone up some as well. This year the cost for Camp Bible-Way will be $185 per person staying in the dorms. The cost for the lodge is slightly more. I hope that the extra cost will not be deterrent for anyone. The atmosphere and benefits of camp far outweigh the expense. The purpose in sending this letter so early is to give each church ample time to plan and raise the funds needed.
As of now we are planning to have a joint (Jr & Sr campers) preaching service in the hanger on Sunday night at
7:00 6:00. There will also be a light supper (probably pizza) and we hope to have them open the snack bar that night as well. We are excited about this new schedule and can’t wait to see everyone again!
The theme for 2014 is: “More Than Conquerors” – Romans 8:37 “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” One thing I would like to see is young people “conquering” their fear of witnessing. We have some skits and classes planned to help them learn how to witness and some other material to give them resources in their quest for souls. This year Bro. Ted Alexander is scheduled to be at camp giving a class to the senior campers on Baptist History. This is a very exciting subject and his presentation style is sure to keep the youth engaged! We also look forward to the same Spirit filled preaching that God has blessed us with for so many years. Even now we pray for God to bless greatly and use this ministry for His glory!
We will keep in touch and keep everyone informed of all matters concerning camp throughout the year. Feel free to join the facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Camp-Bible-Way/132309274552 where we try to put up to date information and announcements. The camp website is: www.Bible-Way.org/youthcamp.
Again, we thank you for your faithful support and prayer for Camp Bible-Way. God has used this ministry greatly in the preparing of our youth for the future of the churches. May the Lord richly bless you for your labor.
We are excited to have added a web site to help keep everyone informed and to make all of the paperwork easier. All of the forms that were previously sent in the camp packet can now be found in the left column of this site. Feel free to print as many copies of the forms as you need. Those who cannot access these forms for any reason may call the church office to have a physical camp packet sent.
Camp Bible-Way’s mission is to help motivate and prepare our young people to serve Jesus Christ. It is not necessarily focused on evangelism, although we do have professions of faith each year. For this reason, we do not tolerate disobedience to the rules. The rules and codes are designed to create an environment free of carnal distractions and temptations so that the spiritual mind can be developed. Please help us out by coming to camp prepared to abide by the restrictions laid out clearly in the dress codes and camp rules. If you have any doubt about anything, always err to caution. We appreciate in advance your participation.
We encourage special music at camp. Remember that all music at camp must be live or church recorded cd’s. No professional soundtracks, drums or worldly sounding music, please.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to work together. We are looking forward to another great year at Camp Bible-Way!
